Bio Bits

Griffin was a four-year letterwinner, earning AVCA All-Region honors as a junior and senior after being named first-team all-Big 12 both seasons. She left ranked in the top 10 on the school's career charts in kills (sixth) and blocks (eighth). Griffin majored in Psychology, and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Griffin has three siblings (Jenci, Dori and McKenzie) and was born in Baton Rouge, La. Her father, Don, was a quarterback at Southeastern State and Louisiana State. She lettered four years in high school in Solana Beach, Calif., where she was all-district all four years.
