2025: Rice placed fifth in the AVP season opener in
Huntington Beach with Corinne Quiggle, then finished in ninth place in a
Tour Series event with Anaya Evans. Rice played in Manhattan Beach with
Geena Urango and the pair finished in fifth place, and their two losses
in that event came against Evans and then Quiggle. In the AVP League
Rice played with Quiggle for the New York Nitro, finishing with a 1-7
match record. Rice competed internationally for the first time,
advancing from the qualifier to place fourth in a Futures event with
Macy Jerger, then finished 17th with Quiggle in a Challenge event. Rice
also played three NORCECA events, getting a gold and a fourth place
finish with Quiggle and then a gold with Geena Urango. 2024:
Rice and Brook Bauer played in four AVP events. The duo had a second
place finish in a Tour Series tournament in Virginia Beach, and ended
the year with a fifth-place finish in Chicago. 2023: Rice
played nine AVP tournaments with seven different partners. She lost in
the qualifier in her first two tournaments alongside Kahlee York. In
her first main draw of a Heritage event, Rice and Savvy Simo finished in
second place in Hermosa Beach with one of the match wins coming against another player named Megan Rice. Rice played three Tour Series events with a best of second with Brook Bauer in the season finale in Laguna Beach.
College: Rice
played one season of volleyball at UC-Santa Barbara, playing in all 29
matches as a freshman. She then transferred to Loyola Marymount, where
as a sophomore she was named First Team All-WCC, leading the team in
kills per set and was third in aces. After redshirting one season due to
injury, she was third on the team in kills as a junior. She then played
three seasons of beach volleyball at LMU. In her final season she
played on court 1 and helped the team to a fourth-place finish in the
NCAA Championships. As an undergrad she graduated magna cum laude and then was summa cum laude when obtaining her master's degree.
Personal: Rice has two brothers, Nathan and Logan. In high school she led her team to a pair of state championships.
