College: Byers plays beach volleyball at Cal Poly. After redshirting her first season she then went 14-3 on court five with Maddy Byrne.

Personal: Byers has two younger brothers, Bryce and Porter. She played four years on her indoor team in high school and had her best year as a junior, when she named the league MVP after setting school records for kills in a match, a season, and in a career.  Her team placed third in the state in her junior season, and then as a senior Byers was named the Tacoma News Tribune High School Player of the Year.
