Rogers is the youngest of three children. His oldest sister, Jeesica, set her high school team record for kills (1,178) but chose to play basketball in college, at both Rhode Island and Iona. The middle child, Jenna, then broke her sister's record with 1,420 career kills. She went to Nebraska to compete in high jump as she set the national high school record in high jump. Rogers' father, Dennis, played basketball at The College of New Jersey and his mother, Lori, played volleyball at Southwest Minnesota State.
